As Vice President and Project Executive at Broadway Construction Group, Stefano Modugno oversees field operations, personnel and progress of all projects, which encompasses on-site administration, supervision and technical management.
With 30 years of experience, Stefano’s background transcends traditional boundaries. He has the ability to lead challenging projects and guide cross-disciplinary strategic initiatives teams. This is Stefano’s signature offering. He is differentiated by an uncommon blend of construction management expertise and strong business acumen, which allows him to view projects with a wide lens, connect the narrow dots and solve complex issues to drive down costs, increase revenue, and improve overall performance.
Throughout his career, Stefano has executed numerous residential, commercial, government, industrial, hospital and commercial development projects and historic restorations in the NYC area. His successes include: Atlantic Terminal ($100M mechanical/architectural upgrade for MTA LIRR), The Powerhouse ($75M conversion of a turn-of-the-century power plant into 175-unit luxury condo complex), BMCC Fiterman Hall, NY State Dormitory Authority ($215M, 450,000 sq. ft. of new construction spanning 85 classrooms/computer labs, 20 conference rooms, 12 soundproof music rooms and 13 art studios), and Genomic Research Institute ($140M state-of-the-art facility hub for genome sequencing, bioinformatics, high-performance computing and research). He also played a key role in the renovation of The Beekman Hotel, a Victorian-era skyscraper with open atrium, pyramidal skylight and 10-story adjoining annex.
Stefano began his career with major New York City construction firms. He is a United States Navy veteran who served in operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Stefano holds an OSHA 30-Hour Certificate and NYC Superintendents License.
