Skyscraper Ready for Construction at Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, Queens

Breaking ground vertically this spring: 24-19 Jackson Ave in Court Square, LIC — a 55-story, 676-ft residential tower with 600 apartments and 10k sq ft of retail. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Charney/Tavros/Incoco, the tower rises from a multistory podium with a landscaped terrace and a rotated glass-and-black-panel shaft. Chelsea Piers Fitness will occupy 72,000 sq ft in the podium (pool, courts, studios, track). Below-grade work is mostly done; superstructure expected above street level soon. Target completion: 2028.
