BCG Shares Spotlight in CIB Award for 50 Ninth

On November 7th, the GMS team, joined by representatives from Tavros Capital and Broadway Construction Group, accepted a Concrete Industry Board Roger H. Corbetta Award of Merit for our project at 50 Ninth, formerly known as 44-54 Ninth Avenue. Attendees from GMS included Carl Zanier, Eugene Kim, Miryam Varona, Juan Escobar, and Jean Laurent. They were joined by Dov Barnett and Philip Caporaso from Tavros, and by Joseph Aiello and Peter Conti from Broadway Construction Group.
The project, located in Manhattan’s historic Meatpacking District, involves the construction of a new 9-story flat plate reinforced concrete building located behind preserved landmarked façades.
